Why is it so impossible to do something the right way. All I want is a permit; I can't get answers at all. I just spent 20 minutes on hold because the woman didn't know if I needed a demo permit or a remodel permit. Never came back; left me on hold for 20 minutes.

I could have easily just removed the stupid 3 seasons room by now and the city would never know; but I try to do it correctly and this is my reward.

And how the hell did this room get built in the first place. It's built on a couple f'ing cinder blocks. There is major wood-touching-dirt going on here. I collapsed some animals tunnel just trying to get pictures. The floor under the carpet is rotting out. The city insists they wouldn't have let the room be built without permit. So the city allows home additions built on dirt?

But oh; they'll be damned if they let me properly remove it and fix my foundation.
